Description
The Gaelic language has an intimate relationship with the beautiful landscapes of North West Scotland. Although speakers of other languages also contributed to the area’s place name legacy, the North West Highlands remain fundamentally what they have been for many centuries – a Gaelic landscape. The booklet is free and available as a PDF download Gaelic in the Landscape – Place names in North West Scotland. There are also a limited number of hard copies available free of charge, which we can post out to you for the appropriate postage fee.
If you live out with the UK, please contact us for postage details.
Likewise, if you would like us to send you more than two booklets, please contact us for postage details.
