[Situation] In the Southern portion of the parish adjoining the boundary close to Craigoch Mill
A large tract of land or district divided into Small farms or tenements [with] Small farm houses of an inferior Class thatched the land is chiefly arable [with] light hilly Sandy Soil it is occupied by about a dozen of tenants, or occupiers this district extends on the west nearly to Cairndonnan farm house on the South to Drumboy Hill and the Ervie Burn on the east as far as Drummullin and extends as far north as the farm of Drumdow the rough land Called Killiemuddigan this district is the property of [Sir] Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw.
